Exposed – HTTP Proxies And Being Anonymous Online

Desperately looking for a HTTP Proxy? Being anonymous online can sometimes be difficult. You can be anonymous or hide your identity online with a proxy server, but it is this that causes the problem. This is because there are so many types of proxy servers that it can be confusing for many people. The only proxy server that lets you be 100% anonymous online and hide your real IP is called a http proxy.

HTTP Proxy Servers act as a middle man while you are web surfing and transfer info back to your computer. The web surfing is really done with the proxy. Therefore, the IP used isn’t your computer’s but is actually the proxy server’s IP. So, if someone looks at your IP while you are surfing their website, they can only see the proxy server IP and if surfing with a http proxy there is no way they know you are even using a proxy server.

Elite proxies are the absolute best of all the different kinds of proxy servers because they are completely anonymous and secure. They do this because not only are the IPs they give you 100% anonymous, but if anyone looks at or examines an IP on a http proxy they can detect nothing unusual about it. They have no way of knowing that you are using a proxy server. There is no use in changing your IP if someone can tell you have done it. If you are serious about hiding your IP online and HTTP Proxies, nothing beats a http proxy. They offer the highest levels of anonymity, speed and IPs being completely cloaked is the reason why elite proxies are the best.

Just how can you get a proxy server of your own? There are actually a couple of different ways to get proxies. The first involves looking for free proxies and the second method involves paying. Just about anyone can locate free proxy servers without much trouble, but you typically have more troubles using them when compared to paid proxies. There are many factors that affect why free proxies aren’t a reliable solution and this is the biggest reason that many people actually go looking for a reliable and paid http proxy.

Paid proxies are actually much cheaper than you may think. For as little as USD a month you have a completely secure and fast proxy that you don’t need to share with anyone else. More and more people are realizing that they have good reason for a private proxy that only they can use. You’ll get completely anonymity with a paid proxy, something free proxies usually fail to deliver. You don’t need to worry about it being slow and suddenly not working one day. If you spend or have spent time looking for free proxies, then you probably already realize how frustrating it can be. With private and paid proxies being so cheap, there really is no reason you can’t have your own. You’ll be glad you did.

Setting up your own HTTP Proxy is super easy. Use it for your HTTP Proxies needs or as a simple yet powerful HTTP Proxy Server.

HTTP Proxy Servers – Ever Wanted To Be Completely Anonymous Online

In search of a HTTP Proxy? Being 100% anonymous on the internet is easier said than done. Being anonymous online is done using a proxy server, but it is this that causes the problem. This is because there are so many types of proxy servers that it can be confusing for many people. If you want to change your IP online and be completely anonymous, then the only solution for you is a http proxy.

HTTP Proxy Servers work by transferring data back to your computer while you are web surfing. Your actual web surfing is done through or via the proxy server. This means that the IP you use while online isn’t your home computer’s IP, it is the IP of the proxy. So, if someone looks at your IP while you are surfing their website, they can only see the proxy server IP and if you are using a http proxy they have no way of knowing that you even changed or have hidden your IP.

Nothing is better than a http proxy because nothing offers the kind of anonymity, security and speed. This is possible because not only are you 100% anonymous, but if anyone looks at or examines an IP on a http proxy they can detect nothing unusual about it. No-one can detect you have changed your IP. If someone can tell you have changed your IP you aren’t really anonymous.

If you are serious about being anonymous online and HTTP Proxies, nothing beats a http proxy. The speed, anonymity and ability for IPs to be cloaked so you look like any other average Joe on the internet makes them the absolute best proxy solution. Want to know what the best way to get a proxy of your own is? Here are two of the most popular proxy solutions people use. The first method is basically using free proxies found on the internet and the second method is the opposite and involves paying. Just about anyone can locate free proxy servers without much trouble, but you typically have more troubles using them when compared to paid proxies. Just why free proxies aren’t reliable goes beyond the scope of this article and this is the main reason why paid proxies actually make sense.

Your own paid proxy server isn’t expensive. For as little as USD a month you can have a complete proxy server setup all of your own. More and more people are realizing that they have good reason for a private proxy that only they can use. You’ll get completely anonymity with a paid proxy, something free proxies usually fail to deliver. You can say goodbye to all the problems commonly associated with free proxies. If you have ever spent time looking for proxies, then you probably already know how much trouble it can be. Save yourself a lot of agony and setup your own proxy server. You’ll be amazed at just how much better they arethank yourself that you did.

The Best Methods to Find an Anonymous Proxy

June 10th, 2010 No comments

During the connection of HTTP, the computer’s IP address will be compulsorily transmitted for the purpose of getting back the information. This also permits the server to recognize the basis of the request of the web. The personal information about the user of the computer can be gathered by the web resource with the help of the distinctive IP address and the ID of the user in the internet.

The web resource can also monitor the user’s interests on reading and it can also spy him and log his requests for the third parties. Some of the internet resource owners also impose restrictions for the users from some countries or from some of the geographical regions.

The anonymous proxy server acts as a middle man between the web browser of the user and the end server. Here, the user will not contact the server directly to get the web page. The web browser communicates with the proxy and in turn the proxy forwards the request to the server. Then the proxy will receive a reply from the end server who in turn will give back the reply to the browser. Thus, there will not be any communication directly between the user and the end server and appears like the HTTP request that is originated from the transitional proxy server. Now, the only path available to track the connection to the source client will be to contact the logs that are available on the anonymous web proxy. The anonymous proxy server can prevent the user’s identity by just stripping the request of all the information regarding the identity by serving as a middle man between the user’s web browser and the end server.

The other wide spread use of the anonymous proxies are to contact the sites that are generally blocked by the user upstream ISP. For example, the web proxies are frequently used by the people to contact the sites that are censored by the government or by his company or organization.

Anonymous web proxy is a kind of proxy server which works in the course of a web form. It is also called as a CGI proxy. In this case, the user has to straight away navigate to the web home page rather than configuring the IP address in the browser which is generally done in the proxies of HTTP or the SOCKS. The web proxies conceal the identity of the user from all the sites he visits and thus keep the cookies in their sites. After completion of each session the same is deleted and also the scripts and images are removed.

When a person wants to use the web proxy, he has to visit the home page of the web browser and just type the web address and click go. The proxy will make all the requests for him and the web site viewed by the user will have only the IP address and the details regarding the proxy server and not of the user.

How To Surf Securely With Anonymous Proxy Surfing

June 3rd, 2010 No comments

Any semblance of privacy we used to have on the internet is long gone, anonymous proxy surfing is becoming more common as people realise just how much of their personal data exists online. Do you have to be a technical wizard to protect your privacy online, well if you want to do it for free it definitely helps?

What are the Issues in Surfing Securely

The main areas of concern are usually the following:

1)ISP Logs which contain your IP address and every web site you visit.

2) Web Server Logs – which record your IP address

3) HTTP Transport – unfortunately the majority of web traffic is in plain text so can be intercepted and read easily.

So whats the Solution and will it cost me?

You can protect yourself to varying extents by using paid or free technology. The easiest part to protect yourself against is the Web server logs, if you use anonymous proxy surfing your IP address will not be recorded in the web servers you visit. Setting up a proxy server manually is quite simple in IE you will find it in Tools/Internet Options/Connections/LAN Settings – just input the address of the anonymous proxy and that’s it. The problem is finding a free proxy to use as the majority are hacked or misconfigured servers and are nearly always painfully slow.

You can also use an Open source program called TOR which is more secure than selecting a random anonymous proxy and hoping it’s not run by a Russian Hacking Club! TOR has the potential to be extremely secure but it is fairly difficult to set up and again can be extremely slow browsing using it unless you stick to text only sites.

To deal with the other points you’ll need to use some sort of encryption protocol, try looking at Stunnel which enables you to encrypt TCP connections inside SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Again it’s free but you’ll need to pretty technical to get it all working, it’s quite fun experimenting though if you have the inclination and time.

Can I Surf Securely with Anonymous Proxy Surfing ?

May 27th, 2010 No comments

Anonymous proxy surfing has become increasingly popular as people using the internet on a daily basis become more and more aware of just how insecure their private information is. While it might sound as if being a computer specialist to safeguard your private information for free online sounds like the truth, in reality it’s something that anyone can do.

So what are the main points of concern to ensure you’re surfing securely?

If you want to securely surf the internet, there are a few things that you must be aware of:

1.Web Server Logs that record your IP address

2.ISP Logs that store the IP address of every website you visit

3.HTTP Transport – In most situations web traffic is transferred in a plain text format making it easy to collect and read

How can this be prevented and what are the costs involved? There are different levels of protection provided by either free or paid services.

The easiest thing to protect you from is the Web Server Logs. Anonymous proxy surfing makes sure that the IP recorded by the web servers is that of the proxy, not yours. Using IE (Internet Explorer) makes it very easy to setup use of a proxy server manually. Simply go to Tools –> Internet Options –> Connections –> LAN Settings and simply put in the IP address of the proxy. The difficulty with free proxies is that many of them are gotten through hacking or servers that are incorrectly configured and are unbelievably slow and unsecured.

There is a widely available open source program called TOR that provides you with more security then randomly choosing from a free proxy and hoping it’s not run by Russian Hacking Clubs! TOR has the ability to provide you with a very secure connection but it can be difficult to setup and the speeds are still terrible unless the sites you visit are in a text format only.

The other points of concern require the use of a encryption protocol to bypass. One in particular called Stunnel gives you the ability to encrypt your TCP connection inside the Secure Socket Layer, otherwise known as the SSL. While the program may be free, you need to be very technically minded to setup the program properly, but if you have the time and your just curious you can actually do some experimenting of your own with the program.

What Is An Anonymous Proxy And Are They Really Anonymous?

May 23rd, 2010 No comments

An anonymous proxy just sounds so safe and secure, I’ll be completely anonymous using it and safe from censors, snoopers, hackers and identity thieves. Unfortunately that is not quite the case, it’s just a little deceptive and things are not quite what they seem. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all in favour of these proxies and in fact I use them myself but you should be quite clear on what they actually do.

When you use an anonymous proxy, your browsing session goes something like this -

You send request to proxy server, proxy server forwards that request to the web server, web server replies and proxy forwards the answer.

So the main benefit is that the web server never actually sees who is requesting the web page, the request can from the proxy server and that’s all it sees. Now this is fine and it does give you some anonymity on the web but only from the web site you are visiting.

You are still left with many privacy concerns -

1) All your browsing information on your PC – although that is easily cleared by using privacy options on your browser
2) Every web site you visit is logged at your ISP and linked to your PC
3) The proxy server has a complete log of all your browsing
4) If you browse you probably use HTTP which can be intercepted and read by anyone

There’s quite a few more but the main area of concern for me, and the reason why many people are the victims of some form of identity theft is they use free anonymous proxies that are completely unknown to them. These are often set up by hacking groups to harvest personal details (yes yours!) and steal identities. If you want to protect yourself online, never, ever use any sort of anonymous proxy which you know nothing about.

Guide to an Anonymous Web Proxy

May 16th, 2010 No comments

What is to know about these proxy servers? It is good to know from the beginning that all of their users are enjoying using them.

The term proxy server describes a computer that offers a network service which allows its clients to make indirect connections to other network services. The phenomenon can be also described as follows: a client connects to the proxy server and through it he requires a connection, a file or other resource that is available on other servers. A proxy server can retrieve the searched information through direct connection to the specified server or even from its cache.

There are also much simpler explanations of the term called proxy server. To make it easier to understand we might compare the proxy server with a network machine or computer through what you get to connect to other machines and especially to other persons.

It is also good to know that the used memory for these proxy servers works like a database which will certainly be restored if the same information is asked for more than one time. The conclusion that these proxy servers are useful was revealed because of this fact. If the cache memory restores the information that was earlier needed this might lead to increase of the network quality and might speed up the internet connections.

We also heard about anonymous proxy servers. What is to know about these anonymous web proxies you might wonder? Well these special proxy servers are more than useful. It is well known that anonymous proxy servers hide your ID which will protect you and you computer from unauthorized access through the internet. The IP address is protected with the help of these anonymous proxy servers and no worries should occur while you are browsing the internet. These proxy servers might be used for different web services starting with web mail and ending with web-chat rooms or FTP achieves.

It is also good to know for those who surf the web without any worries that some sites require IP addresses or even IDs. Once they have gathered this information along with some information about your operating system the hacking of your PC might start. You will notice that your PC begins to block more and more often, requiring in most of the cases a reboot and worse than that is the possibility of getting access to your hard drive or RAM.
